  • What is a Panuozzo?
    Our Panuozzo is like a "pizza sandwich," made with the same great ingredients and sourdough as any pizza from our menu, melted to perfection.
  • How you do sell out of pizza?
    We make a new batch of dough every day. Although we give our best estimate to how much dough will be needed to meet daily demand, sometimes we sell out. We will never serve you with a pizza made from a frozen dough ball. Alternatively, you can turn any pizza into a Hero – all the same toppings as your favourite pizza, melted in an 8" ciabatta.
  • When should I call to order?
    It's usually best to call us as soon as you can. We open at 12:00pm and we are often completely sold out of pizzas by early evening. We can have your pizzas ready for you at any time you'd like. However, if you place your order later on in the night, wait times can be up to 2 hours, or sometimes, we may even be sold out for the evening.
  • Can I pay over the phone?
    No. We can't take your credit card information over the phone. However, we can guide you to send us an Interac e-Transfer. Here's what you need to know.
  • Do you accept American Express?
    We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Interac Debit, cash, and Interac e-Transfer.
  • Can I buy a gift card?
    We offer reloadable gift cards of any amount in-store.
  • Do you have any gluten-free options?
    No. Although, we only serve you with pizza made from aged organic sourdough.
  • What are your vegan options?
    Visit our menu and look for any pizza with the "VEGETARIAN" label. Any of those pizzas can easily be made without dairy, and optionally substitued with 1 of our 2 vegan cheese options. We offer: - a blend of crushed nutritional yeast and cashews to simulate the texture and flavour of cheese, or - Violife Vegan Mozzarella, made from coconut oil.
  • Can I get a half & half pizza?
    Yes. We offer a half & half option for our Large 14" pizzas. Half & half pizzas incur an additional $4 charge.
  • What is a "half-baked" pizza?"
    We provide our customers with the option of having their pizzas half-baked. This means we will take your pizza out of the oven before it finishes baking and leave it in its box, uncut. You can take it home and finish it off in your own oven to achieve maximum freshness. We will also provide your finishers like Fresh Basil in to-go containers for you to apply after your pizza is baked. We often suggest the half-bake option for customers who drive 15+ minutes home. Getting your pizzas half-baked is completely free.
  • Can I order a Build Your Own pizza?
    No. We do not provide a build-your-own option anymore. We can do topping add-ons, removals, or substitutions for any pizza on our menu.
  • Is your cheese pasteurized?
    All of our dairy cheeses are pasteurized, excluding Fresh Parmesan.
  • I have an allergy.
    Please inform us of your allergy when you place your order. Our staff will take extra precautions to reduce the risk of cross-contaminating your food. As Salt Pizzeria has an open kitchen, we CANNOT guarantee that there will not be allergens in your food. Some common allergens we use are cashews, tomatoes, red peppers, and dairy (cow, sheep, goat).
  • What are your hours of operation?
    Our Spring Hours are 12:00pm until 8:00pm from Tuesday to Saturday. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
  • Are you hiring?
    Come visit us and ask to speak with Marion. Applicants must have a driver's license and be available to work on evenings and weekends. We look for individuals who take pride in their work and can navigate unexpected challenges.
  • Your pizzas are so expensive!
    We use the highest quality meats, cheeses, and vegetables to craft an authentic Italian-style pizza comparable to no other. Quality, attention to detail, and customer appreciation are our top priorities at Salt Pizzeria. You'll find that many other pizzerias top their pizzas sparsely with low-quality cheese and toppings:
  • How many people will a Large 14" pizza feed?"
    On average, 2 people. There is no shame in eating a whole Large 14" pizza alone, we know it's hard to resist.
  • Are you a family business?
    We are Grandma and Grandpa, Oma, Mom and Dad, our children, our daughter-in-laws, our grandchildren.
